I was just going to post this. Haha weird, I bet it's not true though.

Rondo? When we already have Nash?

Makes no sense but I would assume the trade would also somehow include Garnett going to the Lakers and Nash possibly going to a third team BUT who knows?

    Dwight for Rondo?

CBS sports is reporting the Lakers have engaged celtics on swapping dwight for rondo+filler

However, CBSSports.com has learned that the Lakers have engaged in preliminary trade discussions with an unlikely trade partner regarding Howard: their fierce rival, the Boston Celtics. The centerpieces of the possible deal, which hasn't gained any traction, would be Howard and Rajon Rondo.
Sounds interesting. Don't think it happens, but lakers are the ones who called the celtics it sounds like.

    Calling bull ****

Everyone throwing stories out there to get their name in the headlines at Howard's expense and honestly can you blame them?

Yeah I think this is BS. Laker trade rumors never leak... like ever. Nash, Gasol and Howard were all acquired so quickly and silently. Very un-Laker like

Um this is actually another get out of Jail free card for the Lakers. If I were the celtics I would say no for that alone lol.

Honestly Rondo pass first with Gasol/Kobe and his defense....It could work. What about Nash though?
