    Celtics sign Jarvis Varnado

    Varnado is a 6 foot 9 forward averaging 14 pts 10 Rebs and 3.7 blocks per game playing for Sioux Fall Skyforce.

    At 6'3" and 240 lbs I averaged 22 points 12 boards and 6 assists in the springville city "A" league playing for the Hazzard County roast beasts

    He stated somewhere a couple months ago he was thinking about retiring and hasent taken interest in any teams that have contacted him.

    I actually remember drafting Varnado in a Sim League I was a part of a while back, did pretty solid for me, lol.

    The heat drafted him a few years ago, he played overseas for 3 years and then didnt make the heat out of camp this year.

    He is a ridiculous shot blocker but has no offensive game and isnt great defensively.

    His ceiling is around Joel Anthony, maybe a little better offensively but less of an impact defensively.

    Varnado must be better than Fab Melo

    Melo just put up a triple double in the D-league the another night and instead of calling em him we signed J.V

    Interested to see if he can bring ANYTHING to the table
