But, as much leverage as Detroit has, people know they cant keep him.

Kind of like our deal with CP. We got lowballed because he was leaving regardless. Detroit has a bad contract in jennings and Smith with Drummond needing to be extended at some point. Would be shocked if they matched anything over 9 million

Jennings will be a expiring after next season and you will have a 1st rounder out of the deal. Plus You would have your Frontcourt in place for the next decade.

I dont hate it. Might be the most realistic trade we can expect. Losing Anderson would suck but we dont know how that injury would effect him. I like it

Knicks trade: Jason Smith, Prigioni

Knicks shave some money off their tax bill, and you improve your frontcourt depth and add a solid backup point guard. Just sign a wing with the open roster spot and you should be good to go.

Im all for rading Jimmer and Salmons but idk if I would want Smith back, i dont think it makes our frontcourt deeper, Prigioni wouldnt be a bad pick up
