Zverev has had an outstanding summer. He would seem like the obvious choice to me and if I had to predict one it would be him. Thiem seems like he's close to competing for something, but he just hasn't had that big breakthrough win yet. Nishikori could win it, but I don't trust his health over two weeks. I keep hoping for Dimitrov to put together two weeks of flawless tennis. He looked good to start the year, but has since cooled off. I'd really be happy to see any of those four guys win the US Open.

Rog and Rafa will be the 1 and 2 seeds at the US open. These guys are really getting band back together man! Can Nalbandian get a wild card?

I think he should have rested this tournament. He generally burns himself out after clay season.

Bumping this thread once again. Rafa is now at 16 total, trailing Federer by 3. Barring an injury, he'll be the heavy favorite again to win the French.

They both won 2 so they didn't really move at all.

All it did was move them farther from Djokovic, who was actually on pace to surpass Federer it looked like.

Federer closing in on Nadal. He won't make it even but he's 15-23 right now and on a 5 match win streak. Gotta think they meet at London, where Nadal always falls off. Could be 16 or 17 to 23 by the end of the year.

Does Nadal surpass Federer in Grand Slams?

Yes he will. He just need to pace himself like federer is doing. Don't play in small tournaments just like RF.

His dominance at that tournament is probably the single most impressive feat in the history of tennis.
