    Shortened Season Trades?

With the shortened season was there changed rules as far as when a player can be traded and did the rules for salary matching change?

I just read a piece on Beasly for Prince and as a Piston fan would love to see it but then it said in the article that Prince can not be traded until March? Is it because of his contract he signed? Could the Pistons do a "player to be named later" (just a joke here)

Anyway, looking to see when the Pistons can unload their veteran players.

guys who signed as free agents cannot be traded till march. This rule has always applied, in normal seasons its December.

Magic get Beasley/Fisher -3wins but get a PF and can have Nelson/Fisher in Starting Lineup and bring JRICH off Bench. Minnesota gets Redick+3wins Lakers get Ridmour +4wins
    Then McGee +4wins for Orton/Luggins/Harper -5wins
    C-Howard/McGee
    PF-Beasley,Anderson,Davis,Clark
    SF-Hedo/QRICH/Beasley/Clark
    SG-Nelson or Fisher/JRICH/Wafer
    PG-Nelson or Fisher/Duhon

No free agents can be traded until Mar 1 at the earliest. More than 130 free agents will become available on that day... I expect a busy March.

This is for the bulls fans, Would anyone think it would be a good trade if we sent Deng and Brewer to the Knicks for Melo?
