We've doing some work on our domain controllers this morning that I wasn't told about. It likely caused the issues so far this morning, and should start clearing up.
My name isn't blue...can you fix that for me?
Maybe if they did maintenance things during off hours there would be fewer problems?

The actual maintenance was done during off hours, but we didn't realize that a server restart would be necessary until people were at work and logging into their workstations
We added a redundant domain controller and it needed a restart to start updating passwords properly. We didn't actually think restarting that server would affect things since we've got two backup boxes, but that wasn't the case.
At any rate, we learned something new today, and that issue shouldn't happen again.
The isn't strictly true. We generally do maintenance during the mornings east coast time) which I generally out lowest traffic point during the day.
And we always posts notices when we expect downtime.
Sometimes we need to perform maintenance during peak times to correct issues we can't see during the day (for example on Friday when I was refreshing the site from 5pm until 3:30am Saturday and fixed both a web and database issue that I'd never personally witnessed).
i know most things are done during low traffic hours... i'm just kidding around. because sometimes they do.

I've gotten this message a couple times lately:
I don't know if it's my internet connection or if I need to clear my cookies or if it's the site. Not a big deal.Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.
If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.
That seems to be an issues with a number of different vBulletin sites, with dozens of potential "solutions" that work for some people and not others.
I'll keep poking around for that issue to see if I can find anything that looks like it might be related to our setup.
