    If the Lakers amnesty Kobe...

due to injury or lack of trade partners

would the Lakers organization go down the drain?

    If

And no, not even close. They'd trade everything for Dwight, sign Deron in the offseason - they'd be fine.

Unless he became Brandon Roy-ed then I don't think there is any possible way the Lakers would amnesty him.

If it meant getting cap space and financial relief to sign Deron Williams or Dwight Howard, maybe. I personally think that would be wise but not good for pr and the die hard Kobe fanatics.

Yes, it does end tonight, I DONT SEE IT HAPENING though. but I also cant see anyone trading for Kobe's rediculously large contract.

What if OKC amnestied Durant and the Bulls Rose, and the Heat Lebron and bought out Wade, and the Mavs Dirk

If the Lakers were dumb enough to amnesty Kobe? I'd like to think Kobe would sign to the Clips for the vets minimum and help destroy the Lakers every year for the rest of his career. As if Kobe needs to be MORE competitive.
