Phil Jackson paying close attention to Chicago's record

    http://www.slamonline.com/online/nba...-bulls-record/

The Bulls have been lethal at home all season. Also, it’s worth noting this is the first time since Jackson coached the Bulls that Chicago has even been considered a Finals contender. From ESPN: “Jackson said he is also paying close attention to the Eastern Conference standings, particularly to third-ranked Chicago. Jackson wants to make sure L.A. stays ahead of Chicago in the overall league standings should the Lakers play the Bulls in the Finals, assuring home-court advantage in that scenario. “You want those matchups, just in case something happens, to be in your advantage so that you have home court,” Jackson said.

The Zen master knows what's good. He is right to prepare for the unexpected.

Eh, I would hope all coaches want to stay ahead of a team that is very good at home. That seems like something you'd focus on every year.

how could a Bulls fan disrespect Phil Jackson? Greatest coach in the league as far as I'm concerned.

Makes sense since the Bulls are great at home..

I think Phil needs to worry about the Lakers own record first.. Spurs and Mavs aren't going to be easy to beat this year in the playoffs.

Yet LA would still be favored.

PJ needs to pay attention to whats going on in his conference first. especially during this next 5 weeks.

Worry about the finals if/when you get there.

    great coach btw.
