Gallinari Likely To Be Flipped; Nets, Raptors, Clippers, Cavs Could Be Interested

The Nuggets are not expected to retain Danilo Gallinari, according to sources that spoke with Ric Bucher.

The Nets, Clippers, Cavaliers and Raptors are all expected to express interest in Gallinari.

Gallinari was the sixth overall pick of the 2008 NBA Draft.

The Clippers are offering Minnesota's unprotected 2012 first round pick in exchange for Danilo Gallinari, according to sources.

The pick is top-10 protected in 2011 and unprotected in 2012 and is therefore likely to be conveyed for the 2012 NBA Draft.

    Why would they do that?

They should hold on to him and see how it works out with him for the rest of the season. They can always trade him in the summer.

Because Raptors have TPE, not sure if they will still have it in the summer.

Why would the Nuggets want to get rid o Gallinari???

'Coach, we've got an issue with Kawhi in the arena. Event management called and the lights are not on, and Kawhi's in the arena for two straight days at 6:30 in the morning. And he brought two lamps from home, and he put them up in the arena and shot.'

Trade him now before teams realize he's only an average player. His ceiling is Peja in his prime.

Although that's a good player, it's worth the gamble if they can get the Wolves unprotected pick.

There's an actual offer (Clippers) - why not?

Wow I feel bad for him if he goes to any of those teams..

I'd be hoping it's the Clippers if I were him.

You say it like its a bad thing. 4th in MVP voting in 2003-04. Peja was an all star and great player in his prime...

He should head up to Toronto. Gallo, Bargnari. Now thats a dynamic duo.

Why go to LA's B team? Toronto would be a better fit and I know the east got better, but Raptors will make the playoffs before any of those teams.
