Which stat line would you rather have? 40 pts/ 15 rebs or 25/10/10?

    Simple question.

well honestly. just the fact that 40 points is insane and always a sight to see. id go with that. rebounds can be determined by a lot of factors..assists as well. not dissing assists, assists are a favorite stat, but for real sometimes a hockey assist is even more important..sometimes a rebound comes right to u and is defensive...

    give me the 40 points.

I think it is equal. I figure it like this: Take away 10 boards from each player and you are left with. 25/10 ast. 40/5reb. Let's say each assist is a two-pointer. This means that the player with the triple double accounted for at least 45 points. So basically you have 45 pts to 40 and 5. If two or three of the boards are offensive than that could account for even more points. Hard to tell without looking at specifics. I also assume their FG % and TO are equal.

Dont care for arbitrary marks, what matters is the efficiency. If the 40pt guy scored that much without chucking and the triple double got a bunch of defensive boards and a poor assist/turnover ratio then its the scorers game. Opposite case could be made as well. What matters is the efficiency
