    'Nuff said.
His peripherals may suggest that he was unlucky, which might be true to an extent, but other than his red hot June/July he was shaky at best and lost his closers job a couple of times for several weeks. He can't field his position(even worse than your average reliever) and has developed a knack for crapping the bed in big games over the last 2 years. And be prepared for prolonged stints on the DL.

He seems to be a good guy, but staying healthy and staying in shape have been major problems for Bobby. But when he is on his Curveball is unhittable and he can blow his fastball right by hitters. Unfortunately he was inconsistent for the last 2 years and thats why the Sox cut him loose.

Jenks, Bard, Paps, Tazawa, and Beimel would be nice.

I won't believe it until Edes denies the Sox' interest.

Don't mention Gagne, atleast we don't give up specs for Jenks just $.

For Gagne we gave up David Murphy and Engel Beltre

Ugh, if you hate Papelbon you will hate Jenks even more.

I still wish Boston had non-tendered Pabelbon and signed Soriano.

Heres my question. If we trade Papelbon, whose trade value is low thanks to last season, what do we get in return? And with Jenks being signed, does that make him a closer or does that just puts him in a reliever role?

Jenks struggled because of injuries in the second half last year, he should be much improved next year.

Papelbon will be a type A next year and his trade value sucks, so I doubt he is traded
