    The Face of a Franchise!

I found this question on a blog and it is a great topic for a conversation.

"Who’s the first player you think of when you think of team “X”? That’s what this post is all about – not who was the best player in the history of the team and franchise, but who do you think of when you think of… you get the point."

    - Chicago Bulls - Michael Jordan
    - Atlanta Hawks – Dominique Wilkins
    - Boston Celtics – Larry Bird
    - Detroit Pistons – Isiah Thomas
    - Houston Rockets – Hakeem Olajuwon
    - Indiana Pacers – Reggie Miller
    - Milwaukee Bucks – Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
    - New York Knicks – Patrick Ewing
    - Philadelphia 76ers – Allen Iverson
    - Portland Trail Blazers – Clyde Drexler
    - San Antonio Spurs – Tim Duncan (sorry Admiral)
    - Utah Jazz – Stockton & Malone
    - Los Angeles Lakers – Kobe Bryant (sorry Magic and Jabbar - Five NBA rings with two Finals MVP awards and being the Lakers’ all time leading scorer...)

Who else can you think of or debate these picks.

    Seattle Sonics - Gary Payton

Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, and Colin Kaepernick walk into a bar... To watch Russell Wilson win the Super Bowl.

Most of these are fine, I just wonder about the Lakers. I understand if people would say if Kobe is the face of the franchise; I have no problem with that. It's just you're reasoning. "Five NBA rings and two finals MVP awards." Magic has five rings, three finals MVP's and three league MVP's. Just saying.

Also, I wouldn't say Iverson is the face of the Sixers franchise. In the modern era, yeah, but not all time. That goes to Wilt or Dr. J, still.
    76ers - Eagles - Flyers - Phillies
    Union

Well realistically it'll change based off of other people's preferences, but for me it's definitely Gary Payton.

Bill Walton could be said for the blazers. He did lead the blazers to the only championship in the franchise's history

Oh and for for the 76ers, I'd say Dr. J cause he led his team to the most championships. Wilt was probably the greatest individual player they ever had though..

He didn't play there long enough even though he took them the furthest I still go with Nash.
