The Top FA's At Every Position; Is Raymond Felton really the best PG?

I listed only guys that really can contribute in a rotation. There are barely any PGs or Cs of note and so many SG, SF and PF's to name

    In order:

    PG
    1. Raymond Felton
    2. Luke Ridnour
    3. Randy Foye
    4. Derek Fisher
    5. Nate Robinson
    6. Will Bynum
    7. Steve Blake

    SG.
    1. Dwayne Wade
    2. Joe Johnson
    3. Ray Allen
    4. Tracy McGrady
    5. JJ Redick
    6. Ronnie Brewer
    7. Mike Miller
    8. Raja Bell
    9. Roger Mason

    SF
    1. LeBron James
    2. Paul Pierce
    3. Rudy Gay
    4. John Salmons
    5. Josh Childress
    6. Richard Jefferson
    7. Al Harrington
    8. Josh Howard
    9. Matt Barnes
    10. Travis Outlaw

    PF
    1. Chris Bosh
    2. Amare Stoudemire
    3. Dirk Nowitzki
    4. Carlos Boozer
    5. David Lee
    6. Luis Scola
    7. Udonis Haslem
    8. Tyrus Thomas
    9. Channing Fyre
    10. Drew Gooden

    C
    1. Brendan Haywood
    2. Brad Miller
    3. Zydrunas Ilgauskas

Washed-Up Guys (It's kind of weird putting them so far down on the actual FA list, because they used to be premier players.)

    1. Tracy McGrady
    2. Shaquille O'Neal
    3. Jermaine O'Neal
    4. Allen Iverson
    5. Ben Wallace

    Teams with cap space:

Miami Heat: $45 million (without Wade)
    New York Knicks: $36 million
    New Jersey Nets: $30 million
    Chicago Bulls: $30 million
    Los Angeles Clippers: $22 million
Boston Celtics: $21 million (Sheed retires, Pierce opts out)
    Minnesota Timberwolves: $21 million
    Sacramento Kings: $21 million
    Washington Wizards: $15 million
    Portland Trail Blazers: $11 million
Toronto Raptors: $10 million (without Bosh)
Memphis Grizzlies: $9 million (without Gay)
Atlanta Hawks: $9 million (without Johnson)
Milwaukee Bucks: $8 million (without Salmons)
Oklahoma City Thunder: $7 million (killed cap space with Peterson and Cook trade)

What players would you (realistically) want your team to sign?

I would like to see Luis Scola come to OKC and play the 4 so we could slide Jeff Green into the 6th man role. He made 3 mill and change last year so we could afford him even if we doubled his salary.

yeah except Scola is restricted and the Rockets have said they will match anything. 6mil per for Scola would be a total steal for the Rockets.

    My Rockets off-season hope

    1. MLE on Haywood, Trade for Granger or Melo or S&T for Pierce
    2. Trade for Gortat, MLE on Felton or Foye, Trade for Granger or Melo or S&T for Pierce
    2010-11 Rockets

    Brooks|Lowry
    Martin|Lee|Taylor
    Battier|Budinger|Jeffries
    Scola|Hayes|Patterson
    Yao|Miller|Hill

    Time to get Granger!

The Wolves have an excess of PG's that could be had. Oh, and Al Jefferson, too.

You guys think the Wolves were foolish when they drafted 2 PG's in the same draft. Now, with a terrible FA PG class, (next year will be terrible too, oh, and the draft doesn't look PG strong...) then Rubio will come over and Flynn will be traded. Since he's the best option, we'll get good value for him.

Why does a 15 win club need to worry about positions? Draft the best guy available and in situations coming up this year and next, then you can trade those BEST players (instead of drafting a mediocre player at a postion of need) for good value.

Tyson Chandler has until today to opt out of his contract which early in the month of june reports were reporting he was leaning toward opting out because of the lack of Centers in FA.

ye; Raymond is the best available. He could possiby get overpaid this summer though. Look out for Travis Outlaw and Al Harrington at the Forward position. They may not be ranked highly, but they're scoring forwards that can really help teams immediately.

MJ + Allan Houston= The Good Ol' Days.

Fisher is the best PG in this group, even if he is getting old.

I'd put Stoudamire, Nowitzski and Boozer ahead of Bosh.

And Shaq should be either #1 or #2 amongst the centers.
