Does anyone do the "Fade-Away" anymore?

I was just thinking about the **** called Kobe and his stupid remark about NY never having a Marquee guy and started to think about Ewing and how special he was with his shot.

I then started thinking that I don't really see that shot anymore. Does anyone else in the league do a fade-away consistently or even sometimes anymore?

Ewing was a god with that thing. It'd be nice if Dwight Howard would learn to do it, so he could have a good offensive skill set (which is missing, as evidenced by last year's finals).

    Edit:

Oh, and if you don't know what the fade-away is, just look at my banner below. the 3 shots are all fade-aways.

Here is a clip of one. Its the first shot by Ewing. Not his best fade-away but haven't looked too much.

I think only certain players use it, that have mastered it, its also used in desperate situations. I mainly watch the Suns, but I see Nash do it 1 - 4 times a game.

I still see some use it, it's one of those things coaches absolutely hate though.

When doing the topic, I thought about him. He does do it every once in a while...but it just doesn't feel right when a "small" player does it.

The way Patrick did it was amazing. It had such grace. It was the Ying and the Yang coming together. The perfect storm. The eye of the tornado.

When Kobe does it (not much, imo), he looks as if he's chucking it up and hoping it comes down.

Yeah tons of players still shoot like that all the time, primarily Dirk. And VC used to hit that shot everytime. Not so much anymore but still damn good at it.

Kobe has one of the best ever. Dirk has a great one, and can even hit it going to his weak side instead of his strong side, which is very, very difficult. Other than that, it has been slowly taken out of the game, as teams realize there are much higher percentage shots.
