What happened if J.R. Smith stayed with N.O. or Bulls?

Alright, forget about the Nuggets in this thread...

Do you guys think if J.R. Smith stayed with the Hornets or the Bulls, could he be a very successful player like a superstar caliber player...not a sixth man?

July 14, 2006: Traded by New Orleans along with P. J. Brown to the Chicago Bulls for Tyson Chandler

July 20, 2006: Traded by Chicago to the Denver Nuggets for Howard Eisley and two future second-round draft picks.
Let's check up the line-up with both teams on this season...

    Hornets
    PG: Chris Paul
    SG: J.R. Smith
    SF: Peja Stojakovic
    PF: David West
    C: Emeka Okafor

    Bulls
    PG: Derrick Rose
    SG: J.R. Smith
    SF: Luol Deng
    PF: Tyrus Thomas
    C: Joakim Noah

    what do you guys think?

There's a reason he was traded from the bulls within a week he was acquired. He is and always will be a head case, and he is nothing more than a poor mans Gordon with better hops.

Ringling Bros brings its circus act to the United Center every November.. no need to have JR for an entire season.

Smith would still be the same type of player he is now. But if he was still on the Hornets I would fear New Orleans.
