    Lincecum for MVP?

    http://www.beyondtheboxscore.com/200...ly-to-talk-mvp

It's too hard to quote, but read it anyways.

Oh and BTW, I DO realize that Lincecum will not win the MVP. It's just to give some perspective of how ****ing good he is.

I read it this morning, it was a good read. I would rather have him win the Cy, and somehow have Pablo win the MVP.

    ^^WE NEED THESE GUYS NOW.

Can Lincecum get both the Cy Young and the MVP?

Pujols is going win it. I have never been a fan of pitchers for MVP. I think Kirby Puckett said it best the year he lost it to Eck :

"So if I hit 350 next year with 50 bombs, do I get to win the Cy Young?"

That quote would make sense if we were putting up Lincecum for the batting title.

Kirby Puckett should think before he opens his mouth.

Batting title is the equivalent of ERA title. MVP is the equivalent of Cy Young.

why won't lincecum win the cy young? He has a real good shot at getting the triple crown for this year.

While Lincecum is having an outstanding year, there is one argument that puts pitchers winning the mvp to bed IMO.

They play once every 5 days.

Lincecum will win the Cy Young and may hit 300 k's, if there ever was a case to be made for a pitcher to win a MVP, this would be that case. Pujols will win MVP for sure tho

No it's not. Pitchers are players too. And right now, the two most valuable PLAYERS in the league are both pitchers, who both deserve it over any hitter.
