    The Memphis Griz

Just wondering how many people would bet that the Giz make the playoffs.

    Conley
    Mayo
    Gay
    Warrick
    Marc Gasol

I think Pierce has a better chance of winning an Oscar for best actor then the Griz making the playoffs.

the Grizzlies definitely hav a bright future, i think they'll be a lottery team still, but for the future, they'll definitely be a contender

I still think they will be the 14th best in the west. Only OKC is worse. Conley is still years from being a good point, Mayo hasn't played a game, and I don't think he will be an all star anyway, Gay is really solid, Warrick is average, and Gasol hasn't played a game either. I can't see them being any better than 14th in the west. And if Durant improves A LOT, and Westbrook contributes right away, they may even be the worst team in the league. They waited too long to chase someone. Now, in the next two summers, more teams will have cap space, and Memphis has to compete with all these teams. They need to lure someone now, or risk settling for a bunch of mid range guys, which is all they have

They will make the playoffs, but this season is too early.
The Grizz have a huge potential and they def will be a Top 8 seed in the next 3 or 4 years.

Is this even a question? This year they have NO chance to make it to the playoffs in the already impossible west...in a few years they will make it but not now...not even close. They are, yet again, lottery bound.

    Not this year.

If every piece clicks into place and Mayo , Gasol and Arthur prove to be worthy picks they could make some "noise" and end like 12 or 13 in the west.

If it works and they build some chemistry and in next summer Free Agency they are able to grab a big name PF then they will have a slight chance to make the Playoffs.

I wouldn't bet on them this season. If they become a solid young core in the future, then maybe.
