    I would say most surprising is the fact that they haven't gone after any defensemen. We heard so much about a top four defenseman being a priority, yet watched, Campbell, Redden, etc. go elsewhere.

    Well I for one am glad that we didn't get Campbell or Redden...their prices were way too high. There were some others I'd have liked to sign (or trade for), but oh well...I'd rather do nothing than overpay for someone who's not worth it.

    I agree. Especially if he has the type of season like he had the last 3. Although his assists have dropped his goals have stayed consistent.
