    2nd half predictions...

at the break, we are only 10 games below .500 and have had a 12 game losing streak mixed in there. what do you think we will do the rest of the season? i see signs of the team coming together. i see guys stepping up and taking on a leadership role. our starting rotation seems solid...it can be really good at times. and then there's soria....the mexicutioner, as he's being called around k.c.

i think we get above .500 this season, and do NOT finish last in the central. how about you?

With the Tribe turning out to be one of the most underperforming teams baseball has seen in the past decade, coupled with the facts that they traded their ace and will be calling up younger talent to see what they've got...there's no reason the Royals can't snag 4th in the division.

i think they can get closer to .500 and finish fourth or better with the pitching and hitting starting to come around before the break

I think they'll get 4th but end up a few games below 500.

Slowly rising to the top, go Royals!

august 1, and the royals are 1 game over .500 after the break. we are starting a weekend series with the white sox and their new center-fielder, junior griffey. this would be a good series to win.

friday we lost 4-2, and saturday (yesterday) we won 9-7. your basic royals fan would know these things. we (royal fans) would like it if you would at least check the box scores, or watch sportscenter before you paint metsfan28 all over everything here. not an unjust request, i think.

because your prediction was posted on thursday. btw, we're now 2 games over .500 since the break and are 7-3 in our last 10 games.
