I'll be the first homer and say Carlos Gomez. All those groundouts have made him really fast.

    I'd say Reyes.

You guys think Granderson is in this discussion?

Well from what I read Gomez is faster than Jose Reyes, so that rules him out. Too bad theres no 40 yard dash stat on these guys. I would think it would have to be between any of the leaders in stolen bases.

^ I know stolen bases don't dictate speed, but they are a good indication of whose up there in the league. If your the fastest runner in the league, odds are you are using that speed to steal bases. That would be like saying the most powerful hitters don't necessarily lead the league in home runs.

well thats kind of true, willy mo pena can completely destroy a ball but hes not going to be leading the league in homeruns anytime soon

I guess so, but does he really have power if he can't hit the ball? I mean power dictates home runs, silly comment that I shouldn't have made, kind of made sense at the time.

Your certainly not going to see guys at the top of the home run chart that aren't powerful. I guess that was the argument I was trying to make. That in reality the guys at the top of SB chart are certainly up in the speed department.
