    im a yankee fan but i just heard on sportscenter that papi has a partial tear of tendon sheath in wrist and will go on the dl. Sorry guys, seriously, never like to see anyone hurt especially someone as likeable as papi.

    Why would we even think of calling on guys as green as Anderson or Kalish? They're still a ways off. Not even a chance.

    And now the news breaks that he's out for about a month, if not longer.

    That is a serious blow to this team. We could use Brandon Moss soon. Ramirez to DH (Give him SOME LF duties), and then bring in Moss to play OF with the trio of Ellsbury/Crisp/Drew (Just trade Crisp, for god freaking sakes).

    i cant stand barry, but honestly, signing him is probably the best idea, since we wouldnt have to give up any prospects, just money and dignity. im sure he will still be able to hit and stay healthy especially as a DH

    You don't sign Bonds. That's foolish.

    But a month is the low end. As soon as I heard the word "pop", I assumed he'd be out for the season.
