    sat night

In double A May hit his 7th home run , a 3 run drive. he now has 7 home runs, 13 doubles, 27 RBI's and is hitting 330. This is only his second year catching so ecpect him to be in triple a next year. He needs that third minor leauge year. He will also need one part time year in the majors. He might, platton with dewit two years from now, with martin playing third when may is catching. LaRoche could be playing left or second if he does not win the 4ed base job out right.

In vegas laRoche hit a game wining three run homer.
greg miller had his best outing in relief. pitching 2 shut out inng, giving up one hit, no runs, 'NO WALKS] and 3 strike outs!

Listened to the Kershaw game last night.

He was working on his change up thru out the game, gave up 5 hits, none really hard. Beside he was do a let down. Or perhaps that relief job, he did cost him something. No big deal!

In vegas LaRoche was o for one, a line drive out to right field. {He drives the ball very well to the oposite field.] He also walked 4 times! {Still has that great batting eye] His OBP is a incrediable 520! A lead off hitter? [not all lead off hitters are fast or steal bases]

    Thursday night

May hit his 8th home ruin and 25, 26 and 27th RBI.

Lambo hit his 5th home run and 26 and 27th rbi. he iwon't be 20 untill august, he is playing aginst men 3 to 5 years older then him. He played half year of pro ball and has been out of high school a little more than a year.

LaRoche in 15 games in triple A has=

12 hits, 11 runs, 4 hone runs, 10 rbi's, 18 walks, only 4 strike outs adn a on base percentage of 508. That means he is on base more then half the time. If he could teach Piere how to walk...wow.

Ralph Kinner and ted wiliams both said a real power hitter is not afraid to take a lot of strikes and wait for his pitch!

What happened to Chris Winthrow? He was our first pick last year and I can't find him on any of our Minor League rosters.

he is going to start pitching soon. They said sometime in May. He's not injured they are just being extra careful because of the limited innings he has pitched.

This Tiffee guy is now putting up unbelievable numbers. He went 4 for 5 on 23 May.

    Team: LVG League: PCL AVG: .422 G: 46 AB: 192 R: 40 H: 81 2B:24 3B:0 HR:4 RBI:38 TB:117 BB:16 SO:19 SB:0 CS:4 OBP.464 SLG:.609 OPS:1.074

Questions: Does this guy fit into our plans at all? Is this like the situation with Loney last season - leaving him down in AAA to rot? Are there any solutions here?
