Looks like he turned it around in PR. Who knows he might just earn himself an invite to ST if he keeps it up.

I think he was probably starting to get a little homesick.

I was just curious, can anyone give me a rundown of the top prospects we have in our system? I know Ivan DeJesus and Andrew Lambo are probably are the top, but how about the next 6-8? It seems like we are pretty thin in the minor leagues. Do we get 4 supplementary picks if Manny and Blake walk? How about for Lowe? I know Furcal doesn't qualify because he was hurt all year.

De Jesus is not hitting well, so maybe his mojo is gone.

    .304 AVG, .324 OBP, 11K (69 ABs), 2 walks, 16 R, 12 RBIs. 4 errors.

Interesting that he has so many RBIs. He's second in the team. Here's the link in case you want to analyze the numbers yourself.

BTW, our past SUPER PROSPECTS Joe Thurston and Reggie Abercrombie are both playing here in PR. They still suck...

Another interesting point is that Thurston is hitting only .250 but has a better OBP than De Jesus.

i think this off season will be time when we shall make some moves to become a real contender.

    We have
KEmp, Ethier, Loney, Martin, Dewitt, Bills, Kershaw, Brox

and thats a really young and talented core we have at the Major leauge level.

now we just need some vets that could mesh in well with the kids like Manny and not like Kent.

Kazmir is young and is cheap for the next few years he would be a nice fit in our rotation.

And some smart FA signings could make our offence deadly!

First though we need to fire Ned co!
    Brilliant post.

Who the hell is Mitch Jones?

Is he one of those 30 yr old prospects?

He is leading the spring training league in HRs and RBI.

We don't have room for this guy and it is a shame. It kind of reminds me of that guy last year who had an epic spring but didn't make the team.

Having so much talent can be a problem.
