Yeah Brantley has always intrigued me too. I don't think he's really an option though until a DH decision is made. I'm not sure his legs could handle a full season of OF duty.

I'm surprised with Brebbia too.. he wasn't even arbitration eligible! Well worth his minimum salary IMO even if he missed significant time this year again

Rosario is officially a free agent. Again, we probably won't get him but he jumps towards the top of my wish list for sure.

I think it would be a great way to help build in some additional off days during the season for the players. Keep it to a low number like 3 days of DHers and then that gives the players 3 extra days...

The only changes i liked were the DH in the NL and 7 inning double headers. No thanks to expanded playoffs and the extra innings rule

This is likely Theo's last year in Chicago too so I doubt they blow it up his last year. I think he tries to add a few short term pieces to the core and try for 1 more championship before the 2022...

I would bet the Cubs resign Baez and Rizzo. Bryant seems destined for free agency. I would love to snag him up... though STL may be too boring for him ;)
