Yup. He is too arrogant to recognize it too.
That one hurts quite a bit though considering that they could have had Corey Seager instead.
Does anyone know if Fields' pro day will be televised anywhere?
No one on this team seems capable of squaring up a fastball in the middle of the plate. Just upper cut, over swing after upper cut over swing.
The Mets traded their best prospect for him. That’s all he’s done. So as they always do, they will compound the first mistake by committing to the second mistake.
If this team isn’t going to be significantly better than last year, then they should just trade everyone and rebuild. Can’t keep just running it back with the same group of ****ing losers.
This team looks like ****ing trash.
K or DP for Conforto. Book it
deGrom is amazing but apparently this team thinks he can pitch to negative runs.
deGrom should demand a trade. **** this group of losers.
That's some weak ***, cowardly **** by Conforto. Too scared to swing the bat and seize the moment. He was about to again stare at strike three. It's bull ****. Only the Mets could make a win feel bad.
Why the **** can't May get a second out without drama?!
He is not the one who can't hit, pitch or play D when it counts.
Now that the Marlins have the lead the bats will likely now go to sleep. **** this bunch of losers.
I don't understand all of the concerns about Rojas's managing. Who cares what he does if none of the players can hit or pitch in the clutch?
And of course the Marlins immediately come back and take the lead. **** this team!
I can't believe how many people acted like Marte wasn't worth trading for.
6-34 with RISP so far this season, for a robust .176 BA. Absolutely ****ing disgusting. It was a problem last year. It was a problem during spring training. It is a problem!
This team's inability to even advance a runner from 2B with no outs is ****ing disgusting and pathetic.
How many strike threes is Conforto going to stare at?! Swing the ****ing bat!
I would never wish injury on any player, but Betances going on the IL is the best thing for the Mets. Makes the decision to replace him easy and replacing him is definitely the right decision.
This teams hitting approach is ****ing trash. Swinging out of their cleats at junk and staring at pitches in middle of strike zone or weakly making contact on those pitches.
Team is tough to watch
Yup.
Nimmo
Lindor
Smith
Alonso
Conforto
McNeil
Davis
McCann
