I don't think that there's a chance that the Cubs could win in Happ's hearing. I think he could have asked for a couple hundred thousand more and still win.

This would be a very nice return.
Good catch. I failed to look at his age.
I'm not making any deal without Cabrera in it. Salas would be a great "upside" piece to add to the group of youths we just got for Yu.
That would be a great get! But what if the reports are true about no return player being in their top 10? Honestly, I don't have much interest in their system after 10. Maybe Neidert, Fulton, and...

If we kicked in money, could we get Sanchez (Sixto)?
You and 1908 are having some great back and forth reading material.
A SS can pretty much play every position. They are usually the best fielder on the team. If a team is loaded with SS's in all likelihood, they can all be moved off position and still shine.
Outstanding post Real!
Very interesting. But certainly not a surprise in any way. I'm sure many have been aided by other means too.
In this world it's a salary dump. Carlos is outstanding, but Cleveland is dumping salary. I don't think that there's any chance of this deal being made had the Mets not taken Corasco's 27 or 38...
If they wanted them for longer than the 6 or 7 years, they would have extended them. I don't think that they want either player after this year.
So the best SS in baseball, in his last year, plus a 2 year salary dump for meh. I'd say that the most similar move that we could make would be Javi/Hendricks (salary wise + a year) for some...
Then change the play at the line, Mitch! How does he go up there and think that this play is not going to work against this look, and not change it? Oh yeah, I forgot that he can't read a defense.
Wait! What? How was he average? I think that saying that he played below average would be best case scenario.
And yes, the D was just awful!
He loves kicking FG's! They kicked a 20 yard FG mid way through the 3rd! That's just bad decision making right there. If they get stopped, GB has to go 98 yards. If they succeed, they score a TD....
I'll be honest. I don't think for one second that they were moving up and down the field.
Passing attempts, they were at 5.9 yds per attempt. That's bad. League average is 6.8. And that's not...
OK...I didn't want to post this last week, but with the "no delay" to spring training coming out today, I'll say it.
We have a place in Fort Myers that we rent out in the winter. Last week, a...
Holy fuq! I just reached out to somebody selling a 2004 Camry for my daughter! Kind of weird that you mention that.
Jed says that they will be active in the dumpster diving business for FA's this off season. I'm very excited!!

What do you mean, cuzi? I'm suggesting 4/68 and you threw out two deals that are less, after telling me that it should probably higher than my 4/68. I'm thinking that 4/68 is really close to his...
I gotta stop trying to hang with some of you guys! I'm too old, and don't view things the same way sometimes.
You guys have the ability to really think outside the box. It's actually pretty cool.
Thanks man
Then the Phils are the logical partner if they don't land Realmuto. No?
Your'e right on the Yanks. Schmidt and Garcia or Gil then.
I'm going on the premise that the Dodgers would love to...
