Also, both of those measures were related to background checks when purchasing a gun and had nothing to do with "gun grabs" of firearms people already had.
This isn't you?
Look at how eager you are to have him lie to you.
This is the guy you're talking about:

This is one of the bills he was so proud to vote against:...
Australia has no official language.
Australia had a mass shooting in 1996. One guy killed 35 people and wounded another 23.
Australia changed their gun laws as a result, collecting and...
Even that is meeting him more than halfway. The biggest risk of gun violence when a person is mentally ill comes from suicide, not a mass shooting.

But the death rate is only going to be lower for vaccinated people. It's not like the situation has meaningfully changed for the millions of people that aren't vaccinated.
The fascinating thing is that you want to act like you're taking mental health seriously without at any point stopping to consider the way you are stigmatizing people with actual mental health issues...
I agree, we shouldn't try to stop people from getting control of an airplane. It's just a tool! Mental health in hijackers is the real issue we should be focusing on.
Clearly we just need to take mental health even more seriously. Just keep taking it more and more seriously until eventually school shootings just magically stop! We did it!
Why did we secure cockpit doors after 9/11? The planes were just the tools terrorists used to blow up buildings.
You want me to show you every post you've made over the last few pages? Just scroll back. It's your entire purpose here.
You may as well be arguing that we shouldn't be trying to stop drunks from getting behind the wheel, because alcohol is the real problem with drunk driving.
You're doing it with every post, champ. Anything but the guns. It's literally all you have.
Jesus ****ing Christ.
You know other people can see the things you post, right?
You have offered nothing but deflection from guns. It's all you're ever going to offer, because the first reaction to an elementary school being the setting of a mass murder is to defend the guns.
You have no solutions, all you want to do is distract from guns being the focus.
And I'll keep telling you to shut the **** up, because you're useless.
It appears you take someone murdering a bunch of children with guns incredibly lightly. I do not.
None of this is a solution. It's a distraction. Shut the **** up.
Don't forget to blame video games, too. They're always good to distract from guns, and the one thing you're definitely sure of is that it can't be an issue with guns.
You don't have a solution. You have anything but a solution, as per usual. There's nothing to comment on.
"Stop paying attention to the thing that people keep using to murder kids in their...
I guess at least we can be thankful that it wasn't as bad as voter fraud.
Anything but the guns!
Even if they weren't, or even if they turn that grief into action, they'll just be villified by the right. The parents of Sandy Hook had to sue Alex Jones over his attacks, the kids from Stoneman...
It's like giving a suicide bomber credit for stopping themselves from blowing up two buses instead of just the one they blew up.
