I like Schildt... but he certainly can "over manage" things at times. Today was one of them.

I like Schildt... but he certainly can "over manage" things at times. Today was one of them.
O'Neill and his .179 OBP with 14 strike outs.... I'll take Carpenter's .286 obp.
It certainly is which turd sandwich you prefer. Both are horrible right now.
I'll take Carp over O'Neill at the plate right now... holy cow Tyler looks bad. Luckily for him, defense doesn't slump... he'll keep getting the starts.
That's why they're paying Arenado the big bucks!!! Great win.
Carp sent one for quite the ride, but an out is an out... he needs to figure it out.
Carlson is hitting like .160 on the year, with 3 hits. BUT... they are all HR's! hahah... awesome!
O'Neil needs a couple days off to catch his breath. He's bad...
Got out of that jam... but leaving Gallegos in for another inning probably would have prevented it in the first place.
Gallegos is nasty tonight... 3 up 3 down... 3 k's on 15 pitches. I hope he gets another inning.
Well... it wasn't pretty, but he got through 4 with only 1 run (0 earned). Pretty lucky to say the least.
Cardinals scratch away to get 3.... 3-2 good guys in the 7th!
That's actually a good point. Those middle inning guys in close games are incredibly important
They have to be letting Hicks work himself back to the closer role, right?
He's looking sharp.
3 runs on 1 hit is a pretty good way to start the first inning of the series.
Carlos threw another 3 innings scoreless.
Also, Carpenter was 1-1 with an RBI single. His 2nd hit of the offseason... finally.
Could O'Neil rake for us this year?
We all have been waiting for him to put it all together. He's looking very good this spring.... but of course that is against lesser competition (or players...
Carlos looked pretty dang good today. Went 6 innings, giving up 4 hits and 2 walks.... striking out 5.
Matt Carpenter went 0-3 :(
Matt Carpenter is one step forward and 3 steps back every single time he plays.
He very well might come down with an "injury" that requires some rehab.
I have been listening to a lot of talk radio, and apparently he's hitting the ball hard with no results right now.
I think that if he hits less than .200... he will be released sometime in June....
Carlos struck out 3 today, and didn't give a run up in 3 innings. I don't care for the 4 baserunners, but still not bad.
I like Carlos, he just has nasty stuff when he's on. That said... he shouldn't be pitching regularly until he is "on". We have too many good arms that can do a better job for the team.
One...

I will look into VPN's... ticks me off that you have to pay for a service to cheat, so you can buy a service that is available to everyone else in the country.
Nice to see them fight back for a draw. Interesting stats... nobody on the team reached base twice, even though there were 12 batters reach.
Arrenado was 0-2 with a k, but that's ok. I'm just...
So really... we only need one of the last three to actually hit. Carlson is a lock, Bader is going to be the best defensive CF in baseball... one in three gives us a heck of a team.
Austin Dean is going to have a break out year.
Trevor Rosenthal got an 1 year 11mil deal!!! Wow!
Good for Rosie!
