I still think the best option, barring a crazy Watson trade, is Dak. I'm just not convinced that Jerry will let him go.
Just throw a huge contract at him and see what happens though.

Don't care how it happens, but the Packers losing in the playoffs is my favorite pastime along with watching the Cowboys get smoked every Thanksgiving.
Lol... looking forward to him being almost finished with a season left and then never finishing the series. Dude just has too much on his plate. If he'd just focus on one thing then I doubt his...
And Myles Turner is playing like Gobert with a 3pt shot. Really helps to have a defensive force like that in the paint.
Yeah, Stafford isn't an option, unfortunately. Unless they outright release him, which doesn't make sense. I'd bet he ends up in San Francisco... would kill it with Shanahan.
I'm preparing to be...
A guy I'd consider is Jalen Brunson. He's been a very solid backup to Luka, can shoot it, low turnovers, and doesn't need to be high usage next to guys like Zach, Coby, whoever.
Probably not that low, but yeah, I don't think you'd have to move Coby to get him.
At least it's a book series that's complete, right?
Maybe it won't be such a hot mess towards the end with actual source material to use.
Depends on how much Jerry wants to pay him after such a brutal injury. I know he loves Dak though, so my guess is it's unlikely he becomes available.
Is he gonna flip out when he realizes there's about 8 wings on that roster to compete with?
Was a joke...
They're good coaches. Staley and Rodgers especially. Not sure about Raggone though.
Or maybe all of our coaches are saying, "I gotta GTFO of this dumpster fire."
Oh, I agree. I'd rather a new regime be doing this. On Pace and Nagy's part though, it's a smart play... I'd bet, unless next season is a complete disaster, they'll get another year to "develop"...
This strategy might actually buy them another year or two because if they go .500ish again then they'll point to the likely upgrade of whatever QB they select from Foles. Plus, you're really ****ing...
What kills me is that Biggs reported that they'd have been fired if they missed the playoffs. So backing in during an unusual year where an extra team is added to the pool is better?
They've set...
Is Rodgers going to be the DC there or still a DL coach?
Either way, it's a smart move by him. Better job security, gets to work with Staley again, and gets to coach a dude like Bosa, among...
Probably why they didn't show him too much this season and his lines were pretty limited too. He's probably 2nd to LaRusso as least likable character for me.
Probably not ideal to move you and your family to a new place for 1 year either. That wouldn't matter for a guy like Wade Phillips, but still.
The talent is there for whoever to step in and coordinate a top 10 unit again, but I can't imagine it's a desirable situation with a lame duck GM & coach. Feels somewhat similar to when Lovie could...
Not saying it's impossible, but given the speed of defenses, D-lines especially, and the spread being everywhere, it's gonna be tough for any immobile QB nowadays. The situation will have to be...
Nagy basically picks his staff, no? There's a very real chance he doesn't know how good a guy like Rodgers is...he did settle for Pagano, though that was after missing out on Bowles, who's been...
Personally not that interested in Mac Jones. As mentioned before, guys like that are a tough eval given the talent they're surrounded with, plus I don't think you can really make it work in this era...
Good to see that stuff from Wendell. I'm still a believer.
Easily the best job available. Good for him.
It is what it is, unfortunately. Hopefully Pace's aggressive nature pays off this time. It's really the only way to dig ourselves out of this mess if there's any hope for next season.
