Problem with the Yankees in the long term is that they already have plenty of dhs and outfield back up . So the only spot for wells if catching doesn’t work out for him is at 1b

I never said Posada was a great defensive catcher but he was a great defensive catcher compared to Sanchez ....

Exactly , the catcher is the one position that I always valued the glove more than the bat .

Would be nice if they started focusing a little more on how good the players are defensively . Kind of unfortunate that we keep having to pray for the prospects to be good defensively

Other than 1b , just about every position is filled long term or for atleast another 4 years . As much as I like him it might be best to trade him while he has high value and go with one of the guys...

I have to agree that Bauer is way overpaid and Tanaka was disrespected . I would have picked tanaka up rather than trade for tailon ansd picking up both oday and Gardner. Or at the very least traded...

32 year old is Tanaka not sure who the 30 year old is , but I believe it’s Bauer but he has been in the majors for 9 years.
