#0 was LB Beavers, not Gardner.
I wish he could wear his #0 in the pros.
Instead, it looks like he'll be wearing #1.
For me it's the passrush.
Specifically, if Carl Lawson can regain the form that made him the talk of the town last offseason.
This is a dynamic where the Jets have been lacking for far too long.
Something to think about:
Other than Zach Wilson, what "specific" player or part of the team are you most looking forward to seeing in action?
Name only 1.
Can I answer that.....
Let's see:
Are the RBs better?
WR core?
OL?
Passrush talent?
CBs?
DBs?
All a yes.
Are the Jets a better overall team than they were last year?
He's a glass always empty guy.
Give him a full glass, he'll pull out another one and complain it's empty.
You'll get use to him, as every now and then he'll drop some interesting information on...
Makes sense.
With the rookie scale set, there's no real reason for draftees to hold out anymore.
Zach Wilson had the lowest completion % on passes from 1-10yds.
He was 10% less than the average QB.
Damn shame if he doesn't improve his accuracy on that alone.
Let's hope for greater...
I'll take that bet.
Give me the over.
Crazy like a fox
Let's keep in mind that most of this excitement is based off adding rookies.
There will be a learning curve for most of them.
That said, 17-0 is a joke.
16-1 however.......(subject to change)
What in the world???
I've never seen this before...
We play an entire division the 1st 4 weeks of the season.
I was never wrong about the Adams trade, and as much as I like what Joe D is doing with the team, he still handled the Adams situation incorrectly in regards to him (which was the whole point).
...
Has nothing to do with just being a ZW believer, as opposed to his progression and...
It's about how you all can't acknowledge how I was right about last year and none of you had the brass to admit...
That's great and all, but that has nothing to do with how you expect Zach to perform.
Btw Sanchez statistically played with an all-time great defense.
As did both Dilfer and McMahon.
DT Larry Ogunjobi has visited the Jets the past 2 days.
He failed 1 physical this offseason, but if healthy now, he could be a key addition.
This should be good...
For those Jets fans that were trying to talk Zach Wilson smack to me last year, here's your chance to show just how much belief you have in Zach Wilson.
I'm willing to...
Possibly, but Zach Wilson would have to be epically bad again.
And it seems as though he is making every effort to make sure that doesn't happen again.
Gotta like how he's approaching this year,...
Facts.
Only the oblivious wouldn't see that.
Unfortunately, none of Sanchez, Darnold or Geno were able to show that they could play well enough to consistently win on the strength of their...
Whatever.
That's easy.
The answer is however you want to define it.
Has anyone seen the pics of Zach Wilson at camp?
He no longer looks undersized as a QB.
He has hit the gym and put on about 10-15 lbs of muscle.
And he has quads.
If his accuracy comes...
100%
Without the injury, Williams is the 1st WR off the board, bar none.
The real question would have been Wilson vs London at #10.
I'm not going to say 2023 has to be playoff bound (we don't know whether or not ZW is capable of taking a giant leap forward, though we are all hopeful), but I will say they should be in playoff...
