IQ hasn't been good offensively for a while, that's my point. there was some hope he might have been able to be our PG early on, not sure if that's the case anymore.

he's not creating his own open looks like he was before.

he missed several good looks from 3 before that too. he hasn't been an offensive factor in majority of games lately. kinda worried the league may have figured him out a bit.

down 99-92 late we had no business winning this game, yet i felt we'd pull it out somehow. years past it was always "how will we blow this one"? even if we were UP 99-92.

    Thibs has really changed...

Lonzo is a solid 3 & D PG who can pass well on the break, but yea this forum got carried away from saying he was a scrub to acting like he was worth multiple picks and a guy we couldn't miss out on....

that wouldnt be good for us, i doubt he'd sign for so low. he'd be better off betting on himself. keep in mind just about any team, even contenders can offer more than $8m even without cap space. The...

or maybe it stays at 12-$13m, but maybe now Mitch signs it instead of betting on himself and trying to get $20m per year. $13m per year is reasonable anyway.

Mitch getting hurt may be a blessing in disguise. maybe keeps his contract lower like Curry getting $11m back in the day, and really it hasn't hurt us all that much with the way Noel has played, and...

and i ask because for all the talk of Thibs not playing rookies, far and away the most important things to happen this year are 1) Randle turning into a legit all star and borderline ALL NBA player...

i agree, it's like 50/50 to me, they came together at the right time to succeed. I've never seen an 8 year player, or at least can't remember one, that all of a sudden became a 40% 3pt shooter on...

Lonzo scores the vast majority of his points on 3's, that in itself will make most players inconsistent. But Lonzo's 3 ball has been inconsistent for sure. Look at his month to month %'s.

    29%
    34%...

its not just relying on 3's, it's the fact that he never shoots FT's to offset bad shooting nights. 8 game out of 42 is almost 20% of the games.

Again I want Lonzo, but he has become overrated...

Lonzo last night 2-10, 0-7 from 3, 4 points. granted 1st game back from injury, but he has games like this, he's not that consistent.

serious question how much credit do we give Thibs for Randle's performance?

say what you want about Thibs, but on court he can coach and get the most out of guys. meanwhile MIN is back to the...

Win on the road against a good, HEALTHY team led by Randle, RJ & Frank. doesn't get much better than that. one of the best w's of the year.

maybe he commands double, 1/10m. we have plenty of cap regardless, but he's not a must have. Founrier is a better option if the money gets high.

he's really having the same year he had in GSW last year.

but ideally we need to upgrade there, if we can't it means we probably have a lot of cap to give him 1/10m or so if need be.
