That is not certain, just yet. No one can tell how long the antibodies will last. If they last 7 months like mine did after I was sick, boosters will have to be given annually. Flu outbreaks...
I remember this when it happened. She was at her absolute best that day.
John Goodman is an acceptable actor with a very good range of characters, but to call him "great" is quite a stretch. My favorite role he has had is as the GM of the Braves in the movie "Trouble...
Don't you just love Spam?
As a nurse, I wear a mask for most of my shift. I can't imagine people forgetting that they have one on. They are annoying, but part of my job.
It is likely that Covid will be around for a good long time. Society will have to decide how much is acceptable, just like they decide how much Flu is acceptable (once again, I am not equating Covid...
I prefer to think of it as a result of her lack of actual acting ability. Did you actually watch her shows? A show that John Goodman is the best actor has a lot of trouble.
FIFY
And I agree with you.
My point is that the decision of the attorney did not directly cause the death of the client. A medical mistake can directly lead to the death of a patient.
I agree with this. It is not likely a person will die just because a lawyer makes a poor decision on what defense to use in a case. In the medical field, mistakes can cost lives directly.
It would be similar to allowing just anyone to take the Bar Association exam. The chances of passing would be about the same.
In order to get a job as a nurse, one must pass state license exams. In order to pass the license exam one must know the basics of the job -- in many different areas from pediatrics and OB to...
I only wear a mask when I attend a meeting or church service in my little town. I never wear one when I walk my dog. I don't wear one when I go get my mail.
Nicely said.
But Andrew Cuomo is still in the governor's office in New York. Sounds like a bit of hypocrisy to me.
As far as minimum wage, I prefer leaving the decisions up to states and cities. They know how much it costs to live in their areas. It doesn't make a lot of sense to force an employer in a rural...
Come on down and try to do my job. While you're at it, try to do the nurses' aid job. Also, try to put a spreadsheet together to run a company's books.
I learned more my first year on the job than...
No I did not. I said that when I got the vaccine I had a horrible headache that evening. I could barely see that evening.
I am proof of this. I've had a headache nearly every day since I was sick. They are no fun at all.
I agree about Schilling being canceled. His performance on the field was quite extraordinary. He should be in the Hall of Fame.
Kaepernick (I apologize for mis-spelling his name) may have had...
If you want to talk about someone that was "canceled", look at Barry Bonds. He was still a very, very productive hitter and could easily have served an AL team as their DH for another few years. No...
As it turns out, the league was right. He can't play anymore and was not offered a contract because of his lack of ability.
Would you have signed him, knowing that he wanted starter money? Not sure I would have, but I'm not a GM. I cannot speak for what happened several years ago in the NFL. I know that today, he is...
Why would a company doing business in California, New York, DC, New Jersey, and most of New England really care what the federal minimum wage is? There are not likely any real jobs that pay that...
