It's not a home run killer like it once was though. Since they redesigned the park and closed off the portholes, Oracle has averaged the 13th most home runs in 2020, third most in 2021, and 10th most...
We know they offered Harper $310M, Stanton declined to come here though they were willing inherit $295M, Stroman highly praised the Giants front office in negotiations, and the Mets just blew...
The thing is they're not being cheap. They spent ~180M over the offseason including Crawford's extension. The difference is they spread out that money rather than allocating it on one or two pieces....

Last year they got that big hit or that close out save. It's a little more mixed this year.
2021:
One run...
In all honesty, why do you not like the way they look? Not being condescending, just genuinely curious.
We're 42% of the way through the season with a top ten record and top ten producing offense. That's not middle of the pack.
He was top 100 back in 2018 though and he's been pretty underwhelming since then aside from 2019.
Former top 100 prospect too. Hopefully they can work their devil magic again.

We've seen big names frequently don't equate to big production. Just from this offseason we've seen big names such as Semien, Seager, Story, Bryant, Baez, Castellanos, Ray...
Middle of the pack team is simply not true.
Not even Joc? Luis Gonzalez emergence?
I'm just saying. Up two runs with three outs to go, after your ace allowed one run on three hits over seven innings, you gotta win those games.
Inexcusable loss tonight. McGee wasted an excellent performance by Rodon.
I'm not. But only 3.5 games back and a couple acquisitions at the deadline, you never know.
I think it also has some to do with having no big names in the lineup.
Regarding the statement, fair enough.
As for the offense, like I've said stated numerous times previously, this offense actually produces quite well- 7th in runs, 4th in runs per game (only...
None. Bum was the last one on the roster. And like spliff said, Pablo's no longer in the league. He's in the Mexican league now.

You've been complaining that there's been no hitting. Then the hitting explodes and now you wanna trade everybody.
We're 3.5 games back in the division and have the second WC spot.
That...
Thought he was safe live.
There we go! Wynns!
