If we took Linderbaum top 10 we would be using that pick on a position where the TOP NFL salary is just over $13m/year. Just doesn’t seem like a good use of that positional value. I think top 10 you need to build your roster with QB/Edge/OT/DB simply because those are the most important positions in the modern NFL and the most expensive to buy on the FA market.
Look at the OL of the best NFL teams. Most have 1st round tackles and mid to late round interior OL guys.
Personally I’d go OT at 5 or 7, trade the other pick down to mid 1st round if I could to acquire an additional 2nd round pick now and a future 1st, take top Edge/DB available mid 1st round, and then use day 2 picks on top talent available including at least 1 interior OL player.
