Graham is interviewing for the Raiders open DC position. Apparently since the Giants previously granted permission for Graham to interview for the Steelers DC position, they can't go back and deny the Raiders request.
Feelings are that Graham may now be looking for a fresh start to distance himself from the Flores debacle.
Can’t blame Graham if he wants a fresh start. He’s very close to Judge and Flores - this can’t be easy for him.
Will be sorry to see him go but he deserves the best. He will be a HC in the not distant future.
If we do lose Graham I hope we go get Fangio but Martindale will do.
My bigger concern would be losing Jerome Henderson. That’s a guy we have to keep.

It seems that the first person interviewed with the Giants gets the job, Schoen, Daboll. Wink Martindale is being intervewied this weekend so except him to become the new DC

Absolutely loving these moves by Schoen. Tells me very clearly Mara is letting the man do his job.
If it wasn’t for the Flores stuff and Graham leaving (related events I think) this would really be a perfect start for the new regime.

I absolutely love how Vic Fangio runs his defense. It’s modern, it’s adaptable, it gives QBs tons of different looks and there’s so much rotation it makes game planning miserable for opposing OCs. Sean Desai does the same as a direct Fangio disciple. Jerome Henderson is clearly in the same mold given how has coached up our DBs.
Not a knock on Martindale who is also amazing and will likely get the job - I just think the guys who emphasize DB usage and different package looks in the modern NFL have an advantage in handling modern NFL offenses.
