if those things don't happen we end up smashing the all-time wins record, but those things were also directly tied to all the injuries we've had. Also note that the horrible call was tied to us losing one of those series against the giants. I don't normally complain about the umpires, but that was an unacceptably bad and obvious call that swung the division by two gamesQuote:

I was totally against the current playoff format back when it was installed in 2012 for this very reason. We won 106 games and now our season is on the line. Having a second wild card team is bull****.

Especially given how large the gap was between us and the Cardinals. If they want to do something like this there should be some kind of minimum that the other team has to be within in order to trigger a playoff. I have no problem if the 3rd or 4th best team wins the WS. If they can win the WC,DS,NLCS,WS then they deserve to win.
