His OPS for the season was 1.035. So I think the month of April won him the MVP Award.
But it's also interesting to note that the monthly splits for OPS drops each month.

Even when he’s at 100%, he’s never been a perfect hitter. I think he’s more than capable of getting back to being a very productive hitter (.800 OPS). That paired with his defense in CF would make him far more valuable than anything we’d get via trade in this upcoming offseason.

I thought Scherzer might've gotten the perfect game, but he left the change up just enough over the plate. The immaculate inning was awesome in the second though
I'm a little surprised at how dead this place is. Scherzer just came close to one of the greatest performances in the history of the game

I think CK and Goose get quick hooks over the next two games, but they will definitely help save us from taxing and reshuffling the bullpen.
Hopefully it’s all just in time to make a run at first.
I don’t see the Padres taking back to back sweeps so the next three games should present an opportunity to inch closer.
Giants have the season head to head though so we’ve actually gotta make up 4 games and win the division outright if we want to avoid a tiebreaker in SF
Did Kershaw even make any rehab starts? If not, he'll be rusty as ****.
BTW, I'm going to the stadium tonight. I hope the bats get going again in order to give Kershaw some room for error.
