He's getting spanked this year and I don't know why. Lots of hits, lots of HR. His velocity isn't down. Earlier in the year it looked like a lot of his sinkers were coming over the heart of the plate (for HR) instead of painting the corners. His K rate is a bit down.Quote:

I watched Hendrick's 4th inning. His command sucked, they spanked his fastball twice pretty hard, he got unlucky on some hits, the Cubs defense was terrible, and the guy who relieved him let in a couple of his runners.
Hoyer will regret not moving Hendricks at the deadline. The Darvish deal is looking better everyday. With the weakness in the market could have gotten a top 100 and a couple more pieces.
This was an amazing game. Don't think I've ever seen a game where a team leading 7-0 ended up losing by 9 runs, simply amazing.
