A good set of stats about Baez is he is very good vs. lefty pitching. .965 OPS in 2021 so far. That makes him #2 on the team vs. lefties behind only Alonso at 1.003 vs. lefties. McCann is very good against lefties also at .904 OPS. Interestingly Drury hits lefties well too and Nimmo isn't bad considering lefty vs lefty. The rest of the team sucks against lefties this year, especially Dom Smith.

As for PCA, he's in A ball. Could pan out, could not. Hard to tell. But like zcrawf123 said, you got to give something to get something. Not every other GM can be BVW.
As for Baez, ok he K's a lot but does have power and speed. Not my first choice but I don't know what they were asking for Bryant.
Bryant is not a very good defensive 3B. He does have power but does K a lot. Upside would have been some time playing in the OF.

Somethings change and some things remain the same.
But I always said Sandy went well in hand with the Wilpons and his reluctance to do certain moves either over pay with cash or prospects.
Neither did they improved the rotation or the pen which they needed to.
Got another SS who is overrated as **** and can’t even have an obp above .300 let alone make contact.
Phils got pen help and rotation help.
Oh well it will be nice to lose in the first round of the playoffs if they even make it there because I don’t even trust they will.
