Since the start of June though he hasn't been too good at all and his K's seem to be way down. Sticky situation I'm sure. Hopefully he pitches decent for us.

I dont think this will be it...merely an appetizer...warm (vet) body who can filling immediately..go to pen when bigger fish arrives or our own reinforcements that have been out return.

Kimbrel makes sense on two fronts. The first is obvious , he strengthens our bullpen a lot but secondly you do not want the Phillies or Braves or Nats or even the Dodgers to get him.
What I would give up for him is another issue since he is a rental player.
