Heard bryon Buxton may also be available. I'm conflicted with him because he has so much potential and is already a GG true center fielder. But so was Billy Hamilton so is it worth an overpay?
I know Buxton is the better player but I'm using example of cost because of potential

If one of the outfielders go down, I’m cool rolling with Pillar and Lee for a bit. It’s tough to envision at bats for Buxton with the way the roster is currently presented. It would be more of a move for the future, assuming Conforto walks.

If the Padres don't win the division, their season can end with one WC game. They've given up a lot to get to this place.
Sort of like the Lindor/Carrasco trade, I get a feeling they're working on a BIG package deal that isn't terribly on the radar -- Bryant/Kimbrel or Hendricks? Story/Gray? Ramirez/Plesac or Quantrill?
