Guess it depends on how much making the playoffs mean. Cause if we don't make the playoffs we will look back at this. But we most likely won't win it all

totally agree. we need to realize how far behind all 3 of those NL West teams we are. Bryant and Kimbrel help, but our SP which was a major strength is not looking so much like that anymore with more injuries and Walker being awful since the sticky crackdown. We'd almost have to get Bryant, Kimbrel, and Berrios to even have a decent shot this year.Quote:

In no particular order, the top 10 is some combination of Alvarez, Baty, Mauricio, Vientos, Allen, Ginn, PCA, Khalil, Alex Ramirez, and Carlos Cortes…right? Let’s hope Rocker signs, too.
Honestly after the top 5 - Alvarez, Baty, Mauricio, Vientos, and PCA, I’m fine trading literally anybody for a star.
Use Khalil and Santos as trade bait, in addition to the guys I already mentioned before.
Khalil, Santos, Ramirez, Palmer, Ginn, and Cortes are all solid trade chips IMO. Add JD Davis and maybe a guy like Yennsy Diaz, and I feel like there’s a trade to be made there.

see the thing is i think that package you offered can get Bryant, Davies, and Kimbrel. Hell, maybe not much more to clean them out and bring in Bryant, Baez, Davies, and Kimbrel. If we offer JD and Ginn, with those other prospects that's a nice haul. I do not think they get better offer than that.Quote:

i mean, we keep our top top guys, and at least have Kimbrel for next year and give ourselves a decent shot this year. If Baez thrives at 2B, he could want to stay. This also gives us the ability to trade Conforto for a solid rental RP if someone still needs an OFer.Quote:
