Yes and it was Philly fans doing it in Atlanta to. They were trying to make them look bad. Just like antifa

so knee hit legs for a 7 foot 3 guy driving like a pg and you think he is able to keep himself up? if it was wade and his dumbass youd be screaming for days... Joel def draws contact and flops but only to people that have a bias is this one of those moments. We literally have video proof and you sit here and say na hes flopping. Have you ever played sports? def havent.
Enbiid flops for sure, but he does for good reason: At his size, if he doesn't sell contact that prevents him from shooting or effects his shot then it wouldn't be called. And frankly so many bigger guys face the same thing, and it's more a problem that rafs thing "oh I'm not going to call it because he didn't go down". People also forget that Hinkie literally brought in a coach that taught Embiid to fall in ways to protect his surgically repaired foot too.
The reason I get more annoyed at Trae Youngs flopping is because he doesn't need to flop at all. He's small. Any contact is really going to be visible anyways. When he gets bumped by Thybulle, who yes is bigger and strong, and ends up off course by 15-20 feet it's really laughable.
As for Embiid's "flopping" with the rip through that he and Harden (and now Young) does, that's more on the NBA than the player. #1 if you are a defender you should know not to defend with hands below your hips. #2, no one puts up a shot starting down at their knees. It should be an on the floor foul and no automatic shots.
Also, you do got to admit those three are great at the gamesmanship of them going to the FT line on every foul. They assume every foul is a shooting foul and really press the issue by having the rafs take them off the line.
I agree with everything here. I think Joel consistently being able turn double and triple teams into free throws has prevented offensive droughts for Philly. If they even start calling it a side out of bounces I feel it will make a difference and Philly will need more shot making from the supporting caste. Not sure if it would make a difference in the out come of this series but it is definitely something to watch imo

Hawks would be majorly effected too.
I do remember a few years ago they put an emphasis on not calling them shooting fouls but they started calling them as shooting fouls again. Like I said, as much as I blame the players, the refs/NBA need to figure out how to call it better. But also coaches need to be on players to be smarter. Every Capela foul I’ve seen has been hands up, hands up, pump fake drop down, Capela drops hands, Embiid comes under and up.
As a Sixers fan and Steelers fan I’ve seen for almost two decades that somehow the longest slowest worst pump fakes somehow be the most effective tool for Roethlisberger and Embiid. And it’s almost embarrassing for the defenses in year 19 and year 7 to be falling for it like this still. If you stay with arms up it’s not like Embiid drives fast enough you can’t keep up (especially Capela and Collins) and you might get some cheap offensive fouls out of him bodying you.

You're pointing to one play nobody cares about except you. He has flopped throughout this series and playoffs as a whole. Embellishing every little physical contact. He's a master actor. Be thankful he's developed this skill, it makes him nearly impossible to defend.
Sucks that Green got injured. These playoffs are just becoming a survival of the fittest thing. its no longer about whos the best, its about who has the most luck with health. what a drag.
Likely better to have Thybulle play anyways. Allows Simmons and him to switch easier and he’s more active off ball offensively so if they try to hide Young on him, young will have to exert more effort.

Kork into starting 5 for 76ers and Huerter into starting 5 for Hawks.
Some bad shooting by both sides early.
Welp Starting Korkmaz might have been a mistake.
