The reason I get more annoyed at Trae Youngs flopping is because he doesn't need to flop at all. He's small. Any contact is really going to be visible anyways. When he gets bumped by Thybulle, who yes is bigger and strong, and ends up off course by 15-20 feet it's really laughable.
As for Embiid's "flopping" with the rip through that he and Harden (and now Young) does, that's more on the NBA than the player. #1 if you are a defender you should know not to defend with hands below your hips. #2, no one puts up a shot starting down at their knees. It should be an on the floor foul and no automatic shots.
Also, you do got to admit those three are great at the gamesmanship of them going to the FT line on every foul. They assume every foul is a shooting foul and really press the issue by having the rafs take them off the line.
I agree with everything here. I think Joel consistently being able turn double and triple teams into free throws has prevented offensive droughts for Philly. If they even start calling it a side out of bounces I feel it will make a difference and Philly will need more shot making from the supporting caste. Not sure if it would make a difference in the out come of this series but it is definitely something to watch imoQuote:

I do remember a few years ago they put an emphasis on not calling them shooting fouls but they started calling them as shooting fouls again. Likely better to have Thybulle play anyways. Allows Simmons and him to switch easier and he’s more active off ball offensively so if they try to hide Young on him, young will have to exert more effort.
