Reading your posts I would think Harris had a terrible playoff run. He averaged 21/8 and 48/37/87 for a team that turned everything into a slug fest and was very dependant on one on one half court play
Why aren't you wondering how god awful a team with Simmons running the point that didn't have a post monster that also a 3 level scorer would look in the half-court? I don't think you can just decide you only going to play in transition. I think Ben Simmons with the ball in the half-court is a major liability that is kept afloat by Joel
The tough part is now it is obvious to everyone Simmons needs to move and his value is at an all time low. It’s a pretty rough spot to try and get maximum value from with that performance being last thing on everyone’s mind.
Teams will definitely still have interest but the question becomes how much would anyone give to take a shot on him?

There will be teams. There will be a few near contenders that will take the shot and maybe a few rebuilding teams that will want to build around him.
Somethings keeping his value up:
24 with 4 years left on his deal who has only been with one team.

I am sure there will be teams, I would have interest for him for say Beasley++ as others have mentioned recently (I'd give more than listed yet).
I am just saying that's far below what people would have expected a year or especially two ago for him. It will be interesting to see what they squeeze out value wise when it's all said and done. It's the worst possible time to be trading him in his career from that standpoint.
The good news is if any one can get close to full value for Simmons, its Morey. They have the right guy in place for the job.
One thing Ive been trying to tell 6ers fans is that its not all doom and gloom. As a Rockets fan I always had complete confidence in Morey in trying to retool the team around Harden, and to his credit he did a great job of that. Every season I felt with the moves the team made at the time, we had a better chance (accept for when we traded CP3 for RW, but that was more on Tilman)
Morey is the guy that can retool this team around Embiid and the offseason is going to be exciting. So long as Embiid is there and Morey is running the show they will always have a chance to compete for a ship.
Ya having Morey is a plus at least and probably helps the value aspect.
I just wonder where his value ends up now, it's clearly lower than it had been. Can they still package for a legitimate stud next to Embiid? Do they get a couple complimentary guys that fit well but aren't really all star types? I have no doubt they can retool but with his value at an all time low it makes it interesting what they end up with. Morey with Simmons value a couple years ago maybe can get beal or something (at least that's the type of stuff that was all over) but that's a big stretch now imo.
They are a combined 44.4 million. 6ers would have to absorb $13.5 mill in that deal.
What about Beasley, Culver, Hernangómez + their pick if its in the top 3. If their pick lands in the top 3 you have a shot at Cade, Suggs, Green. We should find out tonight where their pick lands and if they get to keep it.
