I think the Sixers took away a lot of the hockey assist type 3s by forcing the screen way out on the floor then turning it side ways for a dribble or two. The Hawks were still getting in the paint with it in the first half but didn’t have great success. In the second half I think there was a lot more one on one from the Hawks. They went away from there normal staple offense and again they weren’t able to create a ton of 3 point looks. Those Gallo misses felt pretty big.Quote:

I was wondering how the Sixers would go without Hunter. I’d start Gallo. Makes a big hole in the second unit but I like to play with my best. Whatever they do benching Tony Snell is a good choice.

They are definitely a more impressive defensive team than I thought they were, but I'm just not certain they can win a championship yet with their offense so reliant on Embiid flopping so much. As you get deeper in the playoffs, refs get to watch more tape, defenses get smarter, and competition gets better offensively I'm not totally convinced Philly can keep up on that end. If Embiid isn't getting to the line 15 times or is able to be contained it'll be interesting to see if Harris or Simmons can step up when needed and put in a 25+ point game.
Missing Hunter and Reddish means playing Hill and Snell. Big drop off at the SF spot and probably is one of the main reasons these games aren't as tight as they could be.Quote:
