Yeah 9 or 10 or 11 games to figure it out...

wtf is participation prizes. I've been around 92 years and I've never heard about it
Etiquette? for saying "Accountability"? Isn't he accountable for bricking an important shot? If he doesn't the stamina or endurance to take that shot, pass it to someone who can. He just came back into the game and acts like he can take over the game. It takes time to get that stamina up and that was a poor decision and he needs to be held accountable for it.
Yeah, it's definitely not ideal, but our core has been together for almost two years so it's not as though we're starting from scratch. If we play with a sense of urgency, I really don't think it will matter unless we're playing the Clippers, in which case it might be tough, but I'd till bet on the lakers
RIP to this thread LMFAO
all that energy for a missed three by Lebron James
Back to actual basketball, I thought LBJ overall looked really good for it being his first game back in over a month. I think AD needs to play with more urgency. I don't think it's that he's not ready to go harder, because you saw it in the final minute he stepped it up some. I think he's kind of just been easing his way back at a comfortable pace but it's time to stop messing around and turn that switch on..that goes double for everyone else
Well, its the problem with today's generation. They grew up in the "participation prize" generation where everyone is a winner. They get a reality lesson when they graduate for high school (if they even make it that far) and the reality of the world don't give out participation prizes. You either perform or get fired. That is reality.
Kobe has 5 rings and they are not participation prizes. Ask all the all stars who never got a ring. Its all bout winning.
Yep, we won't get it done if we don't play with urgency, but I think that would still be the case even if we had all the chemistry in the world and guys had never gotten hurt. I think when everyone was healthy everything was too easy and so guys let up and we didnt really change our attitude when everyone went down. I think now is the time to step up. LBJ is the leader so I think guys will follow his lead and he knows what it takes so I fully expect him to lead in this situation.
For me, just be HEALTHY the rest of the way. Mad props to the Kings and the young players for pullin this one off. Let em' celebrate. On to the next one.
Safe night, fellas. You too ShadowX. You just do what you gotta do. lol
I think deep inside, Lakers have a problem that is hidden deep. Not all players are on the same page and some hold a grudge. For instance, when they got Drummond, Marc Gasol's time got cut drastically and he is not happy. That type of resentment will affect the team chemistry and its showing up in subtle ways.
I'm gonna take off too and let these guys enjoy talking to themselves in their own echo chambers.
No one is calling you out for having a different opinion. Many on here have expressed concern about chemistry issues and there not being that many games left. The issue was that you came in trolling and trying to bait people. No one has had any issues discussing bball once you started discussing it
Dude since when were championships won in regular season??? So we lost to the queens and now it’s the end of the road for “Your” lakers? You call yourself a laker fan since 1980 but you don’t seem to have a clue about your team. May I remind you that last year just before playoffs and into the 1st round of playoffs we looked not so great to many where some TV commentators confidently said we were going to Lose to Blazers? How did that turn out?
Have some patience dude. It’s LBJ 1st game back for crying out loud! AD just got back and it’s the 1st game for AD2 to play with both LBJ and AD. Smdh
Damn! This thread blew up last night!
Tough loss to the Kings
Don't like losing to them
AS, LBJ, DS and KCP 2-19 from 3 line
DS 4-13 overall
Not going to win many games like that
Inexcusable loss. Lakers are an absolute pathetic product right now. LeBron and AD on the court and we lose to the Queens... without Fox? Changes need to be made and that begins with Vogel and his coaching.
