Montoyo getting more comfortable (?)
He didn't look really good last season making some odd moves and then other times didn't seem sure of himself. Seems alot better this season, almost like he's letting his experience lead him in most of his calls; not trying to force things and being more natural from move to move.
I like his bullpen management.
His lineup management I still question every now and then.
Springer out of the game. argh!
If you listened to the Greg Zaun podcast interview he did, he says that Montoyo and many others are just puppets for the front office. Little to no decision making left to the manager.Quote:
