Sorry but to me that is immaterial. To me an ace is supposed to win big games, it’s what they’re paid for. If they need to pitch a shutout in a game you must win so be it. The jays are top 3 in runs scored so they’ve done their job. But when it’s mattered most, the aces, the guys they went out and got specifically to win the big games have failed themQuote:

Priority in the offseason should be to re-sign Ray, maybe Semien, and after that they have to hit the trade market hard. An impact lefthanded bat who can play the infield or outfield should be the priority after getting Ray inked.
It might be in the team's best interest to make Springer the fulltime DH. I know he was signed to play centre, but he only played like a third of the season.
