Nothing like playing the Orioles to artificially boost your offenses team stats lol.
As good as the Jays offense is, i'd argue this series mostly just describes how bad the Orioles pitching is.
I mean we lost the first game, took until 2 outs in the 7th with the Springer homerun to win Game 1 yesterday, and got no hit through 6 yesterday. Any other year we lose 3 of 4 to the O's and obliterate any momentum coming into the series. This is just a different team. I really don't know if I've ever seen a lineup like this in my life as a Jays fan. They're not afraid of any pitcher or situation.Quote:

I agree that they weren't anywhere near their normal standards, but Ray is still the cy young leader, matz has a 3.87 era, and Ryu has been off and on, but is a 4.11 era. I remember when we'd get to David Price for 5 runs early then he'd settle down and shut us down, and the Rays would usually beat us when he pitched. Just need to keep a little perspective, starters aren't going to be lights out every turn.Quote:

Blue Jays I'll give y'all credit man y'all in 2nd in the AL East but now it don't get easier seeing as how y'all have to face the Tampa Bay Rays and if y'all missed it, they in total control of the AL East in 1st place. Toronto yeah y'all are playing at home against the Rays in a 3 game set and then the Twins right after that but then the Yankees they face the Twins and Orioles and the Red Sox face the Mariners and Orioles. I'm just sayin the race ain't goin to be so easy now.
